There is a reason compromise feels empty after a while. You were made for more than survival; sometimes your soul feels restless because God will not let lesser things feel like home forever. Ephesians 2:10 says we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

Let holy desire wake up again and aim that hunger toward surrender, because restlessness can become useful when it reminds you that compromise was never meant to feel like home. Do not settle into a life Christ is calling out of hiding.
Purpose is usually practiced before it is discovered
The phrase made for more can become frustrating when it sounds like everyone else has discovered a grand assignment and you somehow missed yours. Biblical purpose is usually less mysterious. Love God. Love people. Use what you have been given faithfully. Serve where you are. Grow in character. Pay attention to the burdens, abilities, relationships, and opportunities already in front of you.
Calling often becomes clearer while moving, not while waiting for a perfect revelation. You may eventually recognize a specific ministry, vocation, or assignment, but purpose is never postponed until then. Faithfulness at home, work, church, recovery, friendship, and service already matters. The person you are becoming is part of the calling, not merely preparation for something more impressive later.
Put it into practice
- List the people and responsibilities already entrusted to you.
- Name one ability or experience you can use to serve someone this week.
- Stop postponing obedience while waiting for a dramatic sense of calling.
