How To Find Freedom From Shame
For people who know they are forgiven on paper but still feel stained and exposed inside.
Shame is more than feeling bad about sin. Shame says you are bad all the way through and should keep hiding.
That is why shame isolates. It convinces you exposure would destroy you while secrecy keeps poisoning you.
Jesus endured the cross and despised the shame. He dealt with the disgrace attached to sinners.
What this means
"Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed." Psalm 34:5
Tell the truth about what happened and tell the truth about what Christ has done.
You do not honor God by agreeing with what the cross already answered.
